On Sunday 20 and Monday 21 September, the Workshop team spent two days at Cycling Industry News Live 2026, the trade-only show at NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire. We shared Stand C8 with Shopify, and spent most of it behind a laptop or an iPad, running real jobs through Workshop for the shops that stopped by.

What we showed
The stand was built around one idea: the workshop and the shop floor working from the same record. We ran jobs from booking to collection, and showed how Workshop and Shopify share one catalogue, one customer record and one set of numbers, so nothing gets keyed in twice between the stand and the till.
The questions we heard most were practical ones. How do parts on a job card come off the stock count? How does a customer approve extra work from their phone? Can the mechanic see the bike's history before it goes on the stand? We answered most of them by opening Workshop and showing it on a live job.

On stage for the CIN eBike panel
We were also invited onto the CIN eBike panel, hosted by Mark Sutton, editor of Cycling Industry News, alongside guests from across the trade.

Thank you
To everyone who came by the stand, sat in on the panel or let us run a job through Workshop with them: thank you. Thanks also to the Cycling Industry News team for a well-run show, and to Shopify for sharing the stand with us.
