We've opened a live store in London: a working shop floor, set up with our partners Shopify and Visualsoft, where you can see Workshop running the service side of a real counter rather than in a slide deck.
What's in the store
There's a counter with a till and card reader, product on the rails, and Workshop on the screen and the tablet. You can book a job in, add parts to it, take the payment and see the same customer and the same stock in Shopify, because Workshop keeps one catalogue, one customer record and one set of numbers shared with the shop.
Built in bike shops, and not only for them
An item comes in, a job gets booked, parts get fitted and a customer waits to hear. That's the same on every bench, so the store also shows how Workshop runs the service department for jewellers, mobility retailers, ski and snow shops, and watch and clock repairers.
