Workshop by Bikebook wins Best Retailer Services at the BikeBiz Awards 2026

Workshop by Bikebook was named Best Retailer Services at the BikeBiz Awards 2026. What the award means, and what's next for the shops that run on it.

On Thursday 15 October, at the Button Factory in Birmingham, Workshop by Bikebook was named Best Retailer Services at the BikeBiz Awards 2026, in association with Bikedesk.

Why this one matters to us

Best Retailer Services is judged by an industry panel on one question: does this service make a real difference to the people running the trade? For us, that means the workshop: the job on the stand, the bike waiting for parts, the customer asking when it'll be ready. Six months ago we were shortlisted. Now the panel has said Workshop is helping.

What Workshop does

Workshop runs the service side of a shop in one place: bookings, job cards, parts and stock, customer updates and payments. It connects to the tools shops already use, including Shopify and Square, so the till, the website and the workshop stop working against each other.

"Every shop that runs its workshop on Workshop helped win this. You've told us what slows you down, and we've built around it. This award belongs to the mechanics as much as to us."
— Jake Fieldsend, Co-Founder & CFO at Bikebook

Thank you

To every shop and mechanic using Workshop, and to the judges and the BikeBiz team. Thanks also to the night's sponsors and partners: Bikedesk, The Bikeability Trust, Topeak, Reid, Windwave and V12 Retail Finance. And to everyone who came up to say congratulations, it was a good night.
